3. Make a shopping list for groceries.

4. Pay your bills and credit cards on time.
Late fees and interest charges are wasted money. Put your bills on auto-pay, and if you are not able to pay off your credit card, work on paying off the credit cards with the highest interest rates first.
5. Buy generic.
Generic or store-brand products are usually just as good as the name-brand products, but with a smaller price tag.
6. Make coffee at home.
Stopping by Starbucks every morning can add up to $100 or even more a month!
7. Cook meals and pack lunches.
Just like Starbucks, eating out for lunch and dinner can add up quick. Planning your meals ahead of time can help you save big.
